The Application

EARTHbeats is an interactive application that helps to understand the causes and effects of climate change, targeting the project to a young public. We thought being able to build an application about Climate Change and Emergency, such a difficult topic and big concern of current generations,  would have allowed people to not only sensibilise people on the climatic concerns we are facing but also to understand its factors in more fun, simple and engaging way.  

Mechanics & other instructions 

Instruction is provided on the app, you will just need to dive into it :)

The user will be navigating the app through the main mouse and keyboard interaction. We wanted to focus on a very clean and simple UI as the app is targeted at young and generally not savvy people who can then find it difficult to explore a 3D application. There will be a Start Scene, an Instructions Scene, a Main Scene, and 4 additional scenes (for the moment) covering different topics: Polar Ice Caps, Floods, Droughts, Forest Fires.
